Wardrobe and Head shot tips
Here’s a basic guide on Wardrobe tips for your shoot:
Saturated colors work best for headshots. Clothing with patterns will lead to distracting headshots.
Stick with solids.
As an extra note: If you want, find wardrobe options that complement your eyes.
Following your shoot, I will send you a gallery of proofs to review so you can make your selection(s).
I’ll also pick my favorite 2-3 photos, based on what your goals are. These images will be unedited proofs.
Once you make your selection(s), I’ll touch up the images and send you the final, high-resolution versions.
Clothing Options
Although these are professional headshot don’t be afraid to think outside the box and wear something other than a professional suit if that’s not the look you’re going for. Although we want to make sure you get the best professional headshot, they should also represent your personality and branding.
Hair and Makeup
For those who want to put some extra sizzle in their look or just don’t want the hassle of doing all the work the day of the shoot to prep hair or makeup think about scheduling a professional MUA (Makeup Artist). This way, you’re nice and relaxed and all you need to do is show up.
Also, ask about having an onsite MUA. We may be able to have one scheduled for you.
Posing for the shot
Don’t worry about that. That’s my job. But if you know a few tricks up your sleeve don’t hesitate to show me what you got.
